Aviation Advisor, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Charter Sales Executive to join our team at the Kenosha, WI location. The Charter Sales Executive will work alongside the sales team and will play a crucial role in the sales department. The Charter Sales Executive will be responsible for providing charter solutions and trip support to retail and wholesale clients. The Charter Sales Executive is an account manager for his/her assigned charter customers and will also provide support to Aviation Advisor, Inc. departments as needed. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Charter Requests: Handle incoming calls and web inquires for wholesale and retail client requests.
- Industry Knowledge: Establish and maintain industry knowledge and competition. Obtain thorough knowledge of Aviation Advisor products and services.
- Charter Management: Prepare personalized quotes, sales documents, and client agreements.
- Maintain Client Relationships: Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective new clients. Ensure clients receive the highest level of customer service and be a point of contact between client and company. Meet and greet customers arriving or departing on a flight.
- Develop Clientele: Utilize CRM (salesforce.com) to enter, track, and grow client contacts.
- Coordinate Charter Trips: Book, accommodate changes to, and confirm details for charter trips. Coordinate directly with Flight Operations Team to deliver superior and consistent levels of service. Watch over trip and details to ensure successful charter experience.
- Company Representation: Represent the company at various community and business meetings. Periodically visit customers and participate in trade shows and exhibits.
- Expense Tracking: Assist and expedite invoicing by tracking all expenses and revenue on each trip. Coordinate with Accounting Team to ensure accurate trip reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- 2-5 years of prior experience in aviation, especially in private aircraft charter, operations or aircraft management.
- Basic understanding and application of aviation regulations FAR Part 91 & Part 135.
- Ability to multitask and work under fast paced conditions.
- Genuinely enjoys working with customers and can establish good relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Professional and personable with the ability to work closely with clients and other team members.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision, exercise independent judgement, discretion, and initiative.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible – willingness to cover different shifts when called upon, work extra hours when needed and to overall behave like a true sales professional.
- Regional area travel required.
